Binyamin Insurance Agency ("the Agency", "we") respects the privacy of the site's users and operates in accordance with the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 1981, and the regulations enacted under it. This policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and what your rights are.

What information we collect

Information you provide on your own initiative: name, phone number, email, and any details you choose to include in your inquiry (for example, the type of insurance you're interested in). When preparing an insurance quote, and only with your consent, we may request additional information required by the insurer, such as your ID number, vehicle or property details, and for health and life insurance, medical information.

Technical information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, and pages viewed, for operating and securing the site.

You are not legally required to provide any information, but without certain details we will not be able to handle your inquiry or prepare a quote for you.

How we use information

Information is used to respond to inquiries and contact you; to prepare insurance quotes, enroll you in policies, renew them, and handle claims; to meet our legal obligations as an insurance agency; and to improve and secure the site.

Details are passed to the relevant insurance companies only for the purpose of handling your request. We will not sell or rent your information to any third party. We will send updates or marketing messages only if you have agreed to receive them, and you may unsubscribe at any time.

Sharing information with third parties

In addition to insurance companies, information may be shared with service providers working on our behalf (such as website hosting and email systems), subject to their commitment to keep it confidential. Some of these providers store information on servers outside Israel, in accordance with the regulations governing the transfer of information abroad. We will also disclose information if required to do so by law or court order.

Information security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/SSL). We take reasonable security measures in accordance with the Protection of Privacy Regulations (Data Security), 2017. Personal and medical information is handled with care and is accessible only to staff who need it to handle your request. However, absolute protection against intrusion into computer systems cannot be guaranteed.

Your rights

You may review the information held about you, request correction of information that is inaccurate or out of date, and request deletion of information that is no longer needed.
